Following Monaco’s 1-1 draw against Ferencváros on Thursday, Monaco’s European adventure hangs in the balance. Their destiny is in their own hands, but a result against Red Star Belgrade on Thursday is a must. They are second in the group, but just one point ahead of Trabzonspor in third and Red Star in fourth.
Asked if not qualifying from the group would constitute a failure, Disasi replied, “Not qualifying would be a bit of a failure it’s true, because the owners, the coach and we the players have the ambition of qualifying from the group stages. We need to prepare for this match well, without adding pressure and if we’re well-focused, we can do it.”
