NXT announcer Mauro Ranallo took to social media on Thursday to announce that he will not be calling the NXT TakeOver: Chicago 2018 live WWE Network special this Saturday.
Instead, Ranallo will be calling the action for a boxing match in Dallas, Texas on Saturday night for Showtime. Ranallo’s replacement for Saturday’s NXT special will be Vic Joseph.
Ranallo noted that he will be back at the NXT announce desk at the upcoming WWE U.K. Championship Tournament two-night event on Monday and Tuesday at Royal Albert Hall in London, England.
