On the heels of challenging NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler last month in England, NXT UK Superstar Toni Storm is coming to rock the Mae Young Classic again.
As first reported by The Daily Mirror, Storm, a nine-year ring veteran from Australia, will return to the Classic for a second year. Storm made it to the Semifinals in the inaugural event, turning heads by earning three straight victories before falling to tournament winner Kairi Sane.
— WWE released their Q2 earnings report earlier today and one noteworthy observation was an “other” category under the “media” section. While the company did not reveal the exact nature of how much they made from the Saudi Arabia deal due to confidentiality clause, this “other” category featured a year-over-year increase of $39 million. The company pointed to that increase as a result of “the distribution of certain programming content in international markets” which is likely the Greatest Royal Rumble. For comparison, WrestleMania 34 was announced as raking in $14.1 million for WWE.
