— One of the matches set for next month’s Summerslam is Bray Wyatt – in his new “The Fiend” character facing Finn Balor. Wyatt’s gimmick is that during his promos he’s a “lovable children’s TV host” but when he wrestles he turns into The Fiend, with his scary clown mask. At this time, Balor is not expected to wrestle as The Demon at Summerslam according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, but this is a logical next step in their program that at some point it will lead to a Demon vs. Fiend match. Balor is still rumoured to be taking a short leave of absence following SummerSlam and when he returns, would probably pick up his storyline with Wyatt.
