Daniel Cormier has proven himself to be one of the most dominant fighters in all of MMA at the moment, and he is also currently the Heavyweight Champion for UFC. As talk continues about a possible fight between him and Brock Lesnar in the future, it has just been confirmed that Cormier might be on his way over to WWE for a while. Cormier recently announced at his scrum that he will he visiting the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida in a few weeks for a tryout with the company. However, Cormier is not trying out for an in-ring position, but rather for an announcing gig with the company. Daniel Cormier could become WWE’s newest commentator as soon as after the UFC 230 pay-per-view ends on November 3rd.

Daniel Cormier just said during his scrum in Las Vegas that he’s going to Orlando after UFC 230 to do a tryout for a WWE commentary position.

As seen on SmackDown’s 1000th episode earlier this week, The Big Show returned to the program once again and turned heel by assisting The Bar to win a match against The New Day, thus making Cesaro and Sheamus the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions in the process. It appears now that there are indeed plans for this trio to stick together on the show going forward, and they might even have a team name selected for them already. According to PWInsider, The Big Show, Cesaro, and Sheamus are expected to go by the name “Showbar” on future shows. Expect Big Show and the new tag team titleholders to explain their new alliance in a bit more detail during SmackDown’s 1001st episode on Tuesday night.

WWE announced earlier this week that former Impact Knockouts Champion Chelsea Green has signed a deal with the promotion and has already reported to the Performance Center as part of the latest class of signings. The company is not wasting any time at all getting Green into the ring as she just announced via Instagram that she will be competing at NXT live events within the next few days. Green will be wrestling for the NXT brand in Cocoa, Florida this Thursday, and she will also be back for an NXT show in Largo, Florida on Friday. Chelsea Green’s opponents for those shows have not been announced as of yet, but they will mark her official in-ring debut as a full time member of the NXT roster.
