Braun Strowman announced on his Instagram page today that he has signed new four year contract with WWE. The deal will run through 2023 when Braun turns 39.

Radican’s Analysis: Strowman is capable of being a valuable big man for WWE, but they need to push him strong and not have him do silly comedy on TV. Strowman was really good last weekend during his Last Man Standing match against Bobby Lashley at Extreme Rules. Hopefully this is the type of match that can give him some momentum. He was in the last three of the 10 man battle royale to determine the #1 contender to Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship. He was ultimately eliminated when Rollins dumped him and Reigns to the floor while they were battling on the ropes.

It will be interesting to see what kind of match Strowman gets on the SummerSlam card. A high profile match seems in order after his performance at Extreme Rules last weekend.
