A Swiss made Pilatus PC-6, single engine plane was reported missing on Saturday while it was operating from Tanah Merah in Boven Digul district to Oksibil, the district capital of Pegunungan Bintang, bordering Papua New Guinea.

The plane had to make a 45 minute journey but it crashed near Oksibil airport, said the local army chief on Sunday. The local police chief Lt. Col.
