Lyon’s attacking midfielder Rachid Ghezzal has a contract extension proposal on the table that is worth €300k a month, according to the club’s president, Jean-Michel Aulas, who was speaking to RMC.
Ghezzal’s current contract expires at the end of the current season:
“I guess we still have a chance, even if it is reduced. When you go to the African Cup of Nations with an offer from the club where you turned professional which is close to €300k a month, that should mean that you would certainly have the intention to come back and see what can be done. I hope there will be no glitch at the African Cup of Nations. Today the probability remains low (of him extending).”
