NORTH FORK, NY — A sweet puppy has sat for months in a shelter, watching sadly as his siblings were all adopted, but never knowing a home of his own.
Gabrielle Stroup, director of operations at The League on the North Fork, said Lala is eight months old and a 70 lb. hound mix.
“Lala has grown up in shelters. He came to us with his two siblings in the beginning of June from another shelter,” she said. “Both his siblings have been adopted, and he is now alone here at the shelter.”
