Speaking in the mixed zone following Lyon’s 2-0 away victory over fellow Ligue 1 side Toulouse in the Coupe de la Ligue last night, club president Jean-Michel Aulas explained what his team’s January transfer window strategy would be.
“We are going to do the maximum. We are going to give Juninho (Sporting Director) the means that are our own and that are not disproportionate. Florian Maurice is in charge of watching the players, he was seeing a fair number of them tonight (Wednesday) abroad. We know that we need to strengthen because we have the joy of being able to say that we are qualified in all competitions at the moment. We are going to try to advance. We need players with personality, experience, that is what is missing in this team.”
