LONG BRANCH, NJ — On Wednesday, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ6) announced he secured $16 million in funding for thirteen projects he submitted to the federal Appropriations Committee in Congress.

All thirteen project were approved for the funding in the federal spending bill that passed March 6 in the House of Representatives.

Neptune will be given $1 million to repair the Wesley Lake pedestrian bridge. Long Branch also received $850,000 to build a small park next to the city’s new proposed Health and Technology Center. (How Long Branch’s New Health & Wellness Center Will Look, January 2024)
