She was a guest of California senator Dianne Feinstein.

Milano told reporters that she was a guest of ranking member Feinstein, who represents her home state. She flew in from Los Angeles to be present.

She’s been here the whole day.

Milano was photographed walking into the room and posing with other attendees before the hearing began at 10 a.m. ET. She also took photos from her seat and posted them to Twitter, writing, “I believe Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.” She was later told to stop taking photos by a security guard.

She was hanging out with Rep. Carolyn Maloney.

Milano was photographed with New York representative, who voiced her support for Dr. Ford.

Her sole purpose for going? To show support for Ford.

“I felt like I needed to be here to show my solidarity for Dr. Ford,” Milano told ABC News. “On this day that will be very difficult for her.”

Milano has been credited with helping launch the #MeToo movement into the stratosphere, taking Tarana Burke’s hashtag and using it on her Twitter feed to discuss her own experience with sexual assault. Since then, she has acted as an advocate for the accusers, so her support is perfectly in character.
