According to Foot Mercato former Lyon and new Al-Nassr boss Rudi Garcia has made Miralem Pjanic (32) his priority signing – the pair worked together at AS Roma from 2013 to 2016 and could reunite at the Saudi-Arabian Premier League side.

After reaching the end of his loan-deal at Beşiktaş last season, the Turkish side have decided against keeping the Bosnian international after only making 20 appearances – with his current-contracted club Barcelona also not willing to keep the midfielder either. However, whilst injuries have hindered his time in Turkey – there are no shortage of potential suitors for the former Juventus, Roma, and Lyon man.

Rudi Garcia is set to take over Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr on a two-year deal. The former Roma, Lyon, and Marseille boss arrives to the Saudi Premier League after a year out of the game – and will reportedly earn a salary of €5.6m per year. If he can bring Pjanic to Saudi Arabia, it could mark one of league’s biggest coups since Éver Banega’s move to AL Shabab in 2020.
