Friday night’s AEW Rampage on TNT averaged 696,000 viewers, down 3.6 percent from the previous week. It was the lowest number for the show since its debut.
Rampage did face heavy competition in the form of college football on ESPN, which averaged 2.1 million viewers head-to-head with the show.
Rampage drew a 0.30 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 11.8 percent from the previous week. It finished fourth on cable in the demo, trailing only two college football games and a football post-show.
The drops, as would be expected given the competition, were more with male viewers. Females, especially younger females, were actually up from the previous week.
Rampage was up 5.3 percent with women 18-49 and up 44.4 percent with women 12-34. The show was also up 4.3 percent with people over 50. In the show’s best demo, men 18-49, Rampage was down 14.6 percent, which was the main reason for the drop in total viewers.
Below are the total viewership and demo numbers for Rampage so far, along with the total audience and 18-49 demo numbers for the four weeks that Dynamite aired in the same time slot earlier this year:
