Speaking to the press following France’s 1-0 victory in Portugal last night, Anthony Martial had the following to say…
“We won, that is the most important thing. I came on, I could not be more happy. It is a great honour. It was a bit like the Champions League, there was a lot of intensity. I gave what was necessary. And we won. Of course it is different from with the U21s and the youth teams. I am very happy to be here, I hope for regular call-ups whilst playing well for my club.”
