Former Wasps back-row Brad Shields has found a new club after Perpignan announced his signature on a deal until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old, who was recently among those players and staff made redundant by Wasps after they were placed into administration, has been snapped up.
Former England flanker Shields has penned a contract with the Top 14 outfit until the conclusion of 2022/23, as he looks to help Perpignan avoid relegation.
USAP are currently sitting bottom of the table on points difference in France with just two victories claimed from their opening eight games of the campaign.
Shields has an impressive rugby CV as he was a standout player for the Hurricanes in Super Rugby, helping them to glory in 2016 after final agony in 2015.
He made the move from New Zealand to England in 2018 with the prospect of representing the former at Test level realised when he debuted in June that year.
Ex-Wasp Robin Hislop moves to Saracens
Another former Wasps player is on the move as Robin Hislop has agreed a short-term contract with Premiership giants Saracens, the latter has announced.
The loosehead prop has returned to the club after he had a spell on loan at StoneX Stadium in 2020, where he made three appearances for the Men in Black.
Hislop, 30, has plenty of experience after spells at Edinburgh, Rotherham, Doncaster Knights, Wasps, and has also represented Scotland at age-grade level.

He will add further depth to the loosehead prop department at Saracens, joining the likes of Mako Vunipola, Eroni Mawi, Ralph Adams-Hale and James Flynn.
“I’m delighted to be coming back to Sarries. It’s a great club, with a big focus on making people better. I’m excited to get started and fly into it,” he said.
Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall admitted he was pleased to welcome Hislop back to the club but also had sympathy for the situation at Wasps.
“Firstly, of course we are all very sad to see what has happened at Wasps and we wish everyone there all the best. Robin is well respected within our group from his previous short spell with us and his game has gone to a new level over the last few seasons. We are all looking forward to working with him again,” he said.
