Ligue 1 side Lille have today announced the purchase of 19-year-old Burkina Faso international attacker Abou Ouattara from Belgian side KV Mechelen.

Ouattara was initially on loan with Les Dogues since January, in a move that went considerably under the radar back then – they have signed the Burkinabé footballer to a 5-year contract. He played 12 times for LOSC’s reserve team in the last 6 months, producing 3 assists and scoring 3 goals in the process.

The fee is undisclosed, but thought to be negligible.
