L’Équipe report that despite Lyon President Aulas’ claims to the contrary, the Ligue 1 club have agreed a deal in principle to sign 27-year-old Cameroonian international Karl Toko Ekambi from Villarreal on loan with a €20m obligation to buy.
OL are trying to close the finer points of the deal this weekend, so that he is available to play on Tuesday in the semi-final of the Coupe de la Ligue against Lille. The player has not yet agreed personal terms but really wants to join OL.
