Speaking to RMC Sport after Juventus’ 1-0 loss to Lyon last night, French international central midfielder Adrien Rabiot said he was not surprised by the level of threat that the hosts posed.
“I was not surprised because it is a team that I know. I know that they are capable of raising their level in big matches. In this stadium, there is a very tricky atmosphere… They were well positioned, they ran very well. It was very difficult to find our forward line. We did not play our game in the 1st half. We were too nice in the duel, on the second balls and even in distribution. It was not quick enough, we were not incisive, we lacked people in front of goal. We were better in the second half but they had scored their goal and stay a little bit back together.”
