Loïc Tanzi reports this afternoon that the wait for Sergio Ramos’ first appearance in a Paris Saint-Germain shirt will go on, with the Spanish centre-back ruled out for tomorrow’s opening game against Troyes.

Ramos, who arrived in Paris this summer on a free after leaving Real Madrid, sustained a calf injury which has interrupted his pre-season preparation, and is currently in a recovery phase as he progressively returns to full training.

In addition to Ramos, full-back Colin Dagba continues his recovery from an ankle sprain while midfielder Idrissi Gueye is out after testing positive for Covid-19.
