LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A Prospect Heights man faces charges for allegations he pulled out a knife at a fast food restaurant in Libertyville and threatened an employee after he found a discrepancy with his food order.
Stanislav Lemberg, of the 700 block of Piper Court, faces disorderly conduct, aggravated assault and battery charges in connection with the early morning incident on Dec. 27, according to police.
Officers in Libertyville were called to the fast food restaurant in the 1300 block of North Milwaukee Avenue at about 1:11 a.m. for the threat complaint. When they arrived, they learned Lemberg had pulled out a knife and spit on an employee at the business and also threatened the employee.

“There was a discrepancy between the suspect and the restaurant staff regarding the amount of food ordered and what was actually received,” Libertyville Police Department Sgt. Scott Peeler told Patch in an email response.
Lemberg then left the scene in a vehicle. Authorities found the vehicle at about 2 a.m. in the 1500 block of Deerfield Parkway in Buffalo Grove and met with Lemberg.

After Lemberg was released from the hospital, he was arrested and taken to the Lake County Jail to await an initial court appearance.
