WWE finished building to Crown Jewel on Friday night's episode of SmackDown.
With WWE traveling to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel, last night's show was taped in advance. It included the final confrontations between Roman Reigns & LA Knight, John Cena & Solo Sikoa, and Rey Mysterio & Logan Paul before Saturday's premium live event.
Cena eviscerated Sikoa on the mic during their face-to-face, calling Sikoa a "bargain basement Taz ripoff." Cena also said Sikoa only has a job because of Roman Reigns.
Taz made a social media post responding to his name being mentioned:
In the main event of SmackDown, Bianca Belair defeated Bayley. The rest of Damage CTRL were banned from ringside for the match after they had attacked Belair during a backstage interview earlier in the episode. The show went off the air with Belair giving Bayley a KOD through the announce table.
Belair is challenging IYO SKY for the WWE Women's Championship at Crown Jewel.
