PINE HILL, NJ — Authorities are seeking two people accused of robbing a convenience store Wednesday in Camden County. One suspect pointed a semi-automatic handgun at an employee before the pair left with money, several phones, and tobacco and vaping products, according to the Pine Hill Borough Police Department.

The suspects entered S&M Mini Mart (610 Blackwood Clementon Rd., Pine Hill) with their hoods up at about 10 a.m., police said. The first began speaking with the store employee, while the other walked to the back of the store with a gray backpack and acted like he was getting a drink from the refrigerator, according to law enforcement.

When the first subject had the worker’s attention, the second person went behind the counter, pointed the firearm and forced the employee to the floor, authorities said. The second suspect then took numerous products, along with money from the register, according to Pine Hill PD.

Police say they proceeded to take the employee’s cell phone and the store’s landline phone before exiting through the rear door. Voorhees police recovered the phones and some of the money through a K-9 track. Based on that track, authorities believe the suspects ran to The Greens At Pine Hill — an apartment complex at 350 Blackwood Clementon Rd.

Both suspects were dressed in all black with white sneakers, police said. Law enforcement believes they’re in their late teens or early 20s. (View photos above.)
