BURBANK, IL — An elderly woman was discovered deceased in her home Tuesday afternoon during a well-being check by Burbank police.
Around 2:44 p.m., police responded to a call for a well-being check in the 8500 block of South Normandy Avenue. Officers entered the home, when they found the 77-year-old woman deceased. Her name has not been released.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled the death a homicide. Police believe this to be an isolated incident and the public is not in danger.
