Seth Rollins is one step away from becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
With two victories on last night's Raw, Rollins booked his spot in the World Heavyweight title tournament finals. Rollins won a triple threat match earlier in the show before defeating Finn Balor in last night's main event.
Rollins will face either Austin Theory, AJ Styles, Bobby Lashley, Rey Mysterio, Edge, or Sheamus in the World Heavyweight title tournament finals at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, May 27.
Cody Rhodes was one of the favorites in the tournament, but he had his hopes dashed by Brock Lesnar last night. Angry over his loss to Rhodes at Backlash, Lesnar attacked Rhodes during a triple threat match against Balor and The Miz. Lesnar interfered in the match and laid out Rhodes with an F5 on the floor.
Lesnar then gave Rhodes another F5, this time through the announce table. Lesnar challenged Rhodes to face him in a "fight" at Night of Champions — which Rhodes later accepted.
