What the son said
However, things changed after the couple’s eldest son told his grandfather a few days later that his father was killed by his mother and another man.
According to the boy, he had woken up at night and saw his mother holding his father’s legs while another man was sitting on a pillow under which he struggled.
Based on the boy’s revelation, Dharamvir’s family, who say they were aware of Devi’s illicit relationship, approached the police.
The police arrested the duo in November 2018 and during the trial, the court relied on the 6-year-old boy’s testimony and concluded that Dharamvir was murdered.
