Toulouse have announced the signing of Dutch-Bosnian striker Saïd Hamulic (22) from Polish outfit Stal Mielec. Ligue 1’s twelfth-placed side have been busy this winter transfer window. The Occitanie side have already recruited defenders Warren Kamanzi and Gabriel Suazo as well as midfielder Vincent Sierro.

Hamulic has reportedly signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with Toulouse for a €2.5m fee. He was one of the Polish top-flight’s best players with nine goals and four assists in 17 games. Hamulic only played for six months with Stal Mielec after having joined the Polish side from Lithuanian outfit DFK Dainava only last summer.

Hamulic is a versatile striker, able to play centre-forward or as a left-sided winger. The Dutch-Bosnian player is set to compete with strikers Thijs Dallinga and Ado Onaiwu for a starting berth in Philippe Montanier’s team.

Toulouse were also in need of attacking options as English centre-forward Rhys Healey, currently on the sidelines following an ACL tear, is expected to leave at the end of the season. Hamulic may feature for the Occitanie side this Sunday afternoon when Toulouse travel away to Strasbourg for Ligue 1 gameweek 20.
