class=”article_teaser__2t5do”>The final of this season's Europa League sees two attacking sides go head-to-head in Poland and Goal has taken a look at the likely goalscorers

Manchester United face Villarreal in the Europa League final on Wednesday evening in what promises to be an open and exciting showpiece.

Both sides boast excellent scoring records heading into the match in Gdansk and there are plenty of players who will fancy their chances of getting on the scoresheet.

Villarreal vs Manchester United Latest Goalscorer Odds

Leading bet365’s anytime goalscorer market are Edinson Cavani and Bruno Fernandes, with each offered at the very tempting price of  13/8 (2.62) to find the back of the net.

Those two players are United’s joint top scorers in the competition, having each bagged five Europa League goals this term and finished the domestic season strongly.

Mason Greenwood is also offered at the same price, although the teenager has only scored once in the tournament and may not be picked to start in Poland.

Villarreal’s shortest-priced players are Gerard Moreno and Paco Alcacer, who are both available at 12/5 (3.40) .

Of the two, Moreno is the much more appealing option at those odds because of how absolutely vital the Spain striker is for Villarreal.

Indeed, he scored nearly four times as many goals as Alcacer in La Liga this season, claiming 23 strikes to his partner’s six, although both do have six in Europe.

Elsewhere in the market, Paul Pogba scored in United’s 6-2 win over Roma in the semi-final and is offered at 9/2 (5.50) , while Villarreal’s midfield metronome Dani Parejo can be backed at 4/1 (5.00) to net what would be his first continental goal for the club.

Villarreal vs Manchester United Tips and Predictions

There should be plenty of interest in backing Gerard Moreno to score at 12/5 (3.40) given how generous this price looks for an in-form striker who has netted 29 goals this season.

The Yellow Submarine have scored in 23 of their last 25 competitive matches and if they are to do so once more in Poland, their most prolific player looks the most likely candidate.

For a value bet, backing Bruno Fernandes to open the scoring at 5/1 (6.00) could appeal with eight of the Portuguese’s 18 Premier League goals this term having broken the deadlock, while in the Europa League two of his four strikes have been the first of the game.
