As noted, WWE stars Samoa Joe, Kevin Owens and Jason Jordan have all been out of action recently due to injuries, and PWInsider.com is reporting the following updates on each of the three talents.

As for Kevin Owens, he has not been in action since the WWE live event which took place last week in Hidalgo, Texas, and he was once again kept out of the ring for this past weekend’s WWE live events. Owens is currently dealing with some sort of ongoing back issue, however his condition is not believed to be serious and he will be able to compete on Sunday at the Royal Rumble PPV in his WWE Title match alongside Sami Zayn, against AJ Styles.

With regards to Jason Jordan, he was also kept out of the ring this past weekend and is dealing with an undisclosed injury which has sidelined him for over a week as well. Despite the injury, Jordan will be backstage for WWE Raw 25 tonight and could be used in a non-physical role similar to how WWE used him last week.

Finally, Samoa Joe has been confirmed as ruled out for the Royal Rumble PPV on Sunday. He is currently dealing with a foot injury and there is no timetable for his return.

As we noted over the weekend, Joe recently appeared on Booker T’s “Heated Conversations” podcast and revealed his injury will not require surgery, which is a good sign, however he will not be able to compete in the Royal Rumble match this Sunday. Joe was scheduled to work an angle with John Cena at the Rumble, however that has been scrapped due to Joe’s injury.
