Update On Lawsuit Against Titus O’Neil & WWE

Last year, WWE cameraman Donald Anderson filed a lawsuit against WWE and Titus O’Neil, real name Thaddeus Bullard, stemming from an incident which took place during filming of the WWE Network show “Swerved” back in 2015.

PWInisder.com is reporting the lawsuit has been filed once again, back on April 13th, after Bullard was successful in getting the previous lawsuit transferred from the state of California to the state of Florida.

The report adds the lawsuit against WWE and Bullard is seeking over $15,000 after the original lawsuit sought $1.2 million.

The lawsuit claims Anderson was placed in an unsafe working environment when he was filming a “Swerved” scene in which WWE star Paige was shocking Bullard with an electric shock stick. The joke was on Bullard in the scene, and Anderson claims Bullard became enraged after the bit and kicked the camera out of his hand, resulting in injuries Anderson claims prevented him from working for six months.

Anderson was hired by third-party production company Uranus Productions to film “Swerved” and he alleges Uranus Productions was told WWE “would select their own representatives to organize, manage and direct the electric shock prank activity. Consequently, WWE undertook the job of selecting specific WWE personalities as targets, on which to use the electric shock device.”

Anderson furthers that WWE even told him immediately following the prank that he was “not safe on the premises”, that Bullard “could not be controlled” and could be an “ongoing threat” to Anderson.
