This Thursday night’s episode of Impact Wrestling drew approximately 276,000 viewers, down 6.8% from last week’s show. The real bummer is that it’s about 15.6% down year-over-year, from the June 15, 2017 episode.

This week’s show was headlined by a #1 contender’s match between Moose and Eli Drake, with the winner earning an opportunity to face Austin Aries for the Impact World Heavyweight Championship. Plus, Matt Sydal defended the X-Division Championship against Brian Cage, and the fallout from Sami Callihan and Eddie Edward’s brutal, no-holds-barred brawl in the forrest.

Right now the average for 2018 is 304,520 viewers per episode which is still nearly 7.5% above the final average for 2017. The key is that viewership needs to start picking up for the summer, or that gap is going to start closing very quickly.
