Sarray has a new opponent for tonight’s episode of NXT.
Ahead of tonight’s NXT, WWE announced that Ember Moon was declared unable to compete on the show by the NXT medical staff. Moon was supposed to face Sarray tonight. Dakota Kai will now take Moon’s place against Sarray.
Sarray vs. Kai will be the opening match of tonight’s show.
Moon tweeted about not being able to compete tonight: “This has been an extremely rough month, I am angry and gutted! I was really looking forward to this match and getting back on track but just got another pothole in the road. I’m sorry!
Kai will challenge her former tag team partner Raquel Gonzalez for the NXT Women’s Championship at TakeOver 36 on Sunday, August 22. Kai turned against Gonzalez two weeks ago and laid her out with a kick. After Kai explained her actions last week, Gonzalez will respond to Kai tonight.
