Mandy Rose picked up a shock victory on WWE SmackDown Live this week as she faked an eye injury in order to get the better of the blue brand’s current reigning women’s champion, “The Empress” Asuka.
The defeat for the SmackDown Live Women’s Champion took many by surprise, but Rose had stated on her way to the ring that she was “ready for Asuka” — apparently she was right.
After the show, the golden goddess and her tag team partner Sonya Deville caught up with WWE cameras and called her upset victory an “easy win”, bragging about how the duo lasted more than 45 minutes inside the Elimination Chamber.
The question now is… Will Mandy get a match for the title at next month’s WWE Fastlane pay-per-view?
