PWInsider is reporting that IMPACT Wrestling has admitted in court to deleting the master tapes of GFW AMPED!, the wrestling program produced by Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett had reportedly demanded the master tapes, in hopes to copyright the footage, when Anthem revealed they’d deleted it. The 16-hours of footage, featuring the likes of Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Nick Aldis, Bobby Roode and more, were deleted “in the normal course of business, long prior to the onset of this litigation, in order to free up storage space on Anthem Wrestling’s systems.”
Jarrett is currently suing IMPACT Wrestling and its parent-company Anthem over the use of Jarrett’s likeness. Jarrett currently works for WWE as a producer.
