WWE is teasing a Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and newly crowned champion Seth Rollins. The tease came on WWE’s website in regards to their preview of the upcoming April 15 edition of Monday Night Raw.

Will Reigns look to challenge his Shield brother Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship — the very title he was forced to relinquish in October — or does he have another conquest in mind?

Rollins climbed to the top once again when The Kingslayer gained the new moniker of The Beastslayer at WrestleMania 35.  Seth defeated Brock Lesnar that night to become the new WWE Universal champion, making him the top title holder on Raw.

So now it seems that it may only be a matter of time until Rollins defends his title against Reigns. Though nothing has been made official as of yet, it’s only logical that the two men will eventually face-off for the gold.

Roman is still the top guy in WWE but his recent return from leukemia has seen him off to a slow start in Vince McMahon’s company. The Big Dog defeated Dew McIntyre on The Grandest Stage of Them All, but Roman has yet to be elevated back to title contention.

Now that Dean Ambrose has left WWE, it’s possible that Rollins and Reigns are indeed headed for a showdown at some point.

The company’s Superstar Shake-Up event is coming on April 15 and that night could find Rollins with a whole new roster of challengers. Its unknown if Roman will remain on Raw or possibly be traded to SmackDown Live.
