According to PWInsider.com, New Day member Big E is backstage tonight at WWE Money in the Bank for the first time since suffering an injury the week after WrestleMania.
No news yet on whether or not he will be appearing on the show this evening. Big E’s stablemate Kofi Kingston will be defending the WWE Championship against Kevin Owens in the main event, so it’s possible we could see some involve backstage or during that segment.
While we’ll obviously have an answer for this shortly, the most recent word from backstage is that the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match will open the pay-per-view.
That sets up a potentially interesting situation, as Becky Lynch has to defend both the Raw and Smackdown Women’s Championships in two separate matches tonight, which means she would be incredibly vulnerable no matter who wins the briefcase.
