— TNA president Dixie Carter posted a note on her Twitter account in response to a campaign started by Shannon Moore’s friends and fans to get him hired by the organization.

“OK, OK,” Carter wrote. “Told Shannon Moore I heard you guys and to call off his fans’ tweet campaign to me. I doubt Shannon’s TNA days are over.”

She also commented on a phone conversation she had with Hulk Hogan during his ongoing book tour regarding response to the wrestling legend joining TNA.

“Spoke to Hogan who is burning up the road on his book tour. He said, “the TNA response is on fire!”

— Bobby Lashley is close to signing a long-term contract with the MMA organization Strikeforce. Should the deal come to fruition, it would make it impossible for Lashley to join the UFC until he’s well past his athletic prime — and one of his goals was to face Brock Lesnar. The upside of the deal is that it allows him to continue wrestling, whereas if he went to UFC, he would be prohibited from doing so. (source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter)
