— As we noted over the weekend, Finn Balor only wrestled once on the WWE’s recent tour in South America, returning home early after Wednesday’s house show. It was unknown why Balor went home but WWE moved forward on Raw last night to remove him from the Mixed Match Challenge semi-finals (which take place tomorrow) explaining his absence as injury related due to incidents from last week’s show at the hands of Drew McIntyre.
— PWInsider reports that Balor is actually not injured, but rather is simply sick/ill. WWE has replaced him in the Mixed Match Challenge with Apollo Crews but the company expects him to be fine for this weekend’s TLC PPV where Balor is scheduled to take on McIntyre.
