In what will be the first defense of his newly acquired WWE United States Championship, Rey Mysterio will square off against the former title-holder AJ Styles in an immediate rematch on this coming Monday night’s episode of WWE Raw.
The announcement was made during this week’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown On FOX from the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Mysterio won the WWE U.S. Championship from Styles on the Monday, November 25th post-WWE Survivor Series 2019 episode of WWE Raw from Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
The Monday, December 9th episode of WWE Raw featuring the Mysterio-Styles rematch for the WWE United States Championship is scheduled to emanate from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.
