Prior to the NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II live special in Blackpool, England on Sunday, WWE taped matches for upcoming episodes of NXT UK on the WWE Network.
After last week’s episode of NXT UK on the WWE Network was replaced by the “Prime Target” special to promote the NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II show, a regular episode of NXT UK will return this coming week on the WWE Network.
Featured below are spoiler results of the pair of matches taped for this coming week’s episode.

The show got started off with a singles match taped for NXT UK TV. That one saw Joseph Conners go one-on-one against A-Kid.
Joseph Conners vs. A-Kid
With the fans still making their way into the building, this one gets underway.
We see highlights from the Jan. 2nd episode of NXT UK where Joseph Conners interrupts A-Kid while he was cutting a backstage promo.
Conners kept referring to himself as “TakeOver-worthy” and mentioned that while A-Kid is on a roll lately and is doing well for himself, he has no problem ruining things for him.
The Conners/A-Kid match ends with the “TakeOver-worthy” NXT UK Superstar getting his hand raised.
Winner: Joseph Conners
Dave Mastiff vs. Kassius Ohno
Dave Mastiff and Kassius Ohno make their way to the ring for another one-on-one match being taped for this coming week’s edition of NXT UK TV on the WWE Network.
Mastiff vs. Ohno was also set up on the aforementioned Jan. 2nd episode of NXT UK TV that featured the Conners/A-Kid backstage segment.
When all was said-and-done in this singles contest, it was Mastiff who picked up the “W.”
Winner: Dave Mastiff
After this match, the setup was prepared for the NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II live special, which then quickly got underway for the live WWE Network broadcast of the show.
