On last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite from Texas, the Young Bucks defeated the Inner Circle’s Proud and Powerful (Santana & Ortiz) in a street fight to become the new number one contenders for the AEW tag team championship. Following the bout, Matt Jackson would reveal on Twitter that brother Nick was working the event with the flu, and commends his brother for a gutsy performance. He writes, “Nick laid on the floor in our locker room all day, suffering a terrible flu, then popped up & put in that gutsy performance tonight. He won’t say it, so I’ll do it for him. Proud he’s my brother & tag team partner.” Check it out below.
