It was confirmed that one of 205 Live’s most celebrated and featured performers was arrested over the weekend. It was revealed recently that Rich Swann was arrested at around 12am on Sunday morning for “Battery” and “Kidnap – False Imprisonment: Adult”. After each man won a Fatal 4-Way match to earn their spot, Raw was set to see Rich Swann take on Drew Gulak in a number one contender’s match with the winner challenging Enzo Amore for the Cruiserweight Championship at some point in the future. Those plans appear to have been called off in light of recent news involving Swann allegedly getting physical with his wife and forcing her to stay in a car this past Sunday morning.

Mugshotsgainesville.com, an online database featuring records of people taken into custody, revealed that Rich Swann was arrested on over the weekend, and the site posted Swann’s mugshot online. The website lists the following concerning Swann: “The site makes no assumptions or representations about guilt or innocence. People charged with crimes are presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Information on this site should not be used to determine any person’s actual criminal record.” Swann’s record will only remain public for a limited amount of time, “Mug shots are presented chronologically, by booking date, and remain online for a maximum of 90 days.”

WWE has since commented on the recent issues involving Swann. The company announced that Swann has been suspended indefinitely due to their strict zero tolerance policy when it comes to domestic violence. Rich Swann signed with WWE back in 2015 as part of NXT. After a stellar performance in the Cruiserweight Classic, Swann was brought up to the Raw roster as part of 205 Live. He won the Cruiserweight Championship on the inaugural episode of 205 Live and he held it for 61 days before he lost the title to Neville. There is no word on what the company intends on doing now that the Swann vs. Gulak number one contender’s match won’t be taking place.
