Samoa Joe was seemingly about to feud with John Cena before then embarking on his WrestleMania feud. Unfortunately, he then went down with a foot injury that has kept him from competing in the Royal Rumble match, the Mixed Match Challenge, and potentially WrestleMania. Few updates on Joe’s injury have been provided lately, but the man himself is now teasing a possible return to the ring. Joe recently posted an image of himself holding the Universal Champion with a caption simply reading “soon.” Joe has been removed from most of the advertising leading up to WrestleMania in April, but perhaps the former NXT Champion will be able to compete on the show after all.

It’s safe to say that WWE live events usually require all hands to be on deck. It is part of a WWE Superstar’s job to work live events, television dates, and several other commitments as well, but it looks like two of the Raw brand’s top stars were forced to miss out on a recent live event. According to a new report from PWInsider, potential WrestleMania opponents The Miz and Finn Balor were not able to appear on the Kalamazoo, Michigan live event this weekend that they had previously been advertised for. Details on why exactly the two stars missed the event remained scare, but the original report has attributed the absence of both men to “travel issues.”

Aside from occasional pay-per-views in Canada, WWE usually hosts all of their pay-per-views in the United States. Fans have been clamoring for a WWE pay-per-view to be held in the United Kingdom, but that does not appear to be on the horizion anytime soon. Instead, rumors suggesting that WWE could be hosting an event at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia have arisen. According to the Herald Sun, an official announcement confirming that the event will be taking place could be coming before WrestleMania on April 8th. The event will reportedly be taking place on October 7th, and the company is also expecting around 100,000 people to attend the show.
