The wife of Kim Jong-un has been hailed as a new style icon on the Korean Peninsula after being thrust into the spotlight while accompanying her husband on his sudden drive to become an international statesman.
Ri Sol-ju, thought to be 29, has recently emerged from the shadows to become one of North Korea’s best known public figures. While doing so, she has become the top fashion inspiration for young North Korean women, reported the Korea Herald.
Ms Ri’s elegant fashion choices were on full display at Friday’s keynote summit in the truce village of Panmunjom on the demilitarised border zone between North and South.
