The Extreme Rules pay-per-view will be airing this Sunday night on the WWE Network, and the card for the show is expected to be finalized after tonight’s episode of Smackdown wraps up. Although plenty of matches featuring talent from both brands have been announced already, there is one new match that was just recently confirmed for the show by Smackdown General Manager Paige. Former NXT Tag Team Champions and new Smackdown Superstars SAnitY and The New Day will be given a chance to settle their differences in a six-man tag team tables match this weekend. The match will be taking place during the Extreme Rules Kickoff show. This will be the first-ever match for SAnitY on a traditional WWE pay-per-view, so it will be interesting to see if the trio can pull out a victory this Sunday night.

It was reported several months ago that cameraman Donald Anderson filed a lawsuit against Raw Superstar Titus O’Neil and WWE after Titus allegedly injured him during the making of the WWE Network prank series Swerved in 2015. Anderson filed the suit after O’Neil supposedly knocked a camera out of his hand when he had been shocked by cattle-prod that was being carried by Paige. PWInsider reports that O’Neil has now filed a counter-suit for $15,000 due to alleged conspiracies to commit battery, negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress, as well as other charges. O’Neil also informed the court that cattle prod prank was not approved by WWE beforehand and that he and the company had no knowledge of the planned prank.

Fans remember former WWE Superstar Santino Marella for all of his goofy but memorable hijinks that he was involved in during his time with the company. Marella was crowned the Intercontinental Champion on his very first night on Raw, and he accomplished a lot more in WWE before he decided to leave in 2014. Marella is still occasionally active in the wrestling business and he is still believed to be on good terms with WWE, which is why it is no surprise to learn that Marella just visited the WWE Performance Center. PWInsider reports that Marella stopped by the facility in Orlando earlier this week. There is no word on why he appeared at the PC, but he likely provided some assistance for the talent recruits as a guest trainer.
