ST. LOUIS – The St. Cloud State wrestling team accomplished a first for the school Saturday night.
The program won the school’s first national championship in any sport by claiming the Division II national wrestling championship at Chaifetz Arena.
The Huskies had 84.5 team points to claim the title. Nebraska-Kearney was second with 76.5 points and Maryville University (Missouri) was third with 61 points.
