Alex Riley did a lot of tweeting on Thursday, May 5, mainly playing up his old guard NXT character positioned opposite new stars arriving.

Then, Riley was released from WWE on Friday, May 6. The tweeting stopped for three weeks until Sunday.

Riley broke his post-release silence by congratulating Cody Rhodes on taking a stand by asking for his release when he felt like he was being under-utilized and under-valued.

“Bravo,” Riley tweeted to Stardust. “(You’re) not alone. Let me know if I can help in any way.”

Riley has not indicated what his post-WWE plans are, or if he will be taking bookings for other wrestling promotions.

Bravo. Your not alone. Let me know if I can help in anyway. @StardustWWE
