On Monday evening, Becky Lynch used Rousey’s idol “Rowdy” Roddy Piper’s own words against her in a tweet criticizing the RAW Women’s Champion. This is in response to Rousey’s YouTube video where she called wrestling fake.

 

The Piper quote: “Challenge me about wrestling being fake and you wouldn’t have time to get the word out of your mouth. That’s just what you did when someone questioned the morals of your livelihood” – Roddy Piper

 

For those of you unaware, Piper took great offense to people calling wrestling fake because he, and many of the wrestlers he stepped in the ring, suffered various injuries from the bumps they took over the years.
