Daniel Bryan has not made any appearances for WWE at all ever since he dropped the WWE Championship to Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania 35 earlier this month. It has since been reported that Bryan is dealing with an injury but WWE is keeping the details under wraps. This has worried some fans given his history with concussions. However, PWInsider notes that Bryan is still being advertised for WWE’s upcoming European tour next month. He is also being advertised for the SmackDown show this Tuesday. Of course, this does not guarantee that the former world champion will be appearing as he could still be pulled within the next few days, but it may be a sign that he could be good to return to the ring after all.
Former WWE Champion Glenn “Kane” Jacobs is currently serving as the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. However, that does not mean that his in-ring career with WWE is over. Kane last wrestled during WWE’s Crown Jewel show in late 2018, and it sounds like he still is not ready to end his long run with the company. WWE uploaded a new video on their YouTube channel this week featuring Kane talking about his duties as the mayor and what he has been up to since putting his full time career with WWE behind him. Jacobs did not rule out the idea of a surprise appearance every so often. For those who miss seeing “The Big Red Machine” on TV, he could end up competing in another match at any moment.

Over the past few weeks, a rivalry between SmackDown stars Andrade and Finn Balor has been brewing. Andrade got a win over the Intercontinental Champion not too long ago, but Balor was able to beat “El Idolo” the very next week. Now that they both have one win over each other, it makes sense for a rubber match between the two former NXT Champions to take place on television. However, Andrade wants Balor to put his championship on the line whenever they have their next encounter. It did not take too long for Balor to accept Andrade’s challenge. WWE has not made a rematch between the two of them official yet, but the title match will likely take place at Money in the Bank in May or on SmackDown this Tuesday.

@FinnBalor I got you once, you got me once. Let’s make it more interesting next time…put that #IntercontinentalChampionship on the line! Que tú piensas ???
