CLEVELAND — A bomb threat was phoned in to a building near the I-X Center, hours before President Donald Trump is set to appear at a rally. Police have cleared the building, found no bomb, and allowed employees to return to work.

The threat to 21000 Aerospace Parkway came in at about 8 a.m., Cleveland Police said. Staff at the building were evacuated as a precaution.

Officers conducted a full search of the building, with a Canine Unit, and found no bomb. Employees have since returned to work.

Police said there is no suspect information available right now, but the matter remains under investigation. The incident did not impact any flights at nearby Cleveland Hopkins Airport.

Trump is set to appear at a rally at 3 p.m. at the I-X Center. Doors for that event will open at noon.
